Our trip to LA was tons of fun, but the long drive both ways really took its toll. We made it home at about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning and have been recovering since. We had a great time visiting my family and Jesse Jr. had a blast! He had lots of peeps to play with and was already asking on Wednesday if we could go back on Saturday! We had a quiet, comfy New Year’s celebration here. We all went outside and did some sparklers and Big Jesse and I rang in the New Year by watching some episodes of season 3 of Deadwood. Today the weather was in the 70’s and beautiful so we all went for a walk at the park and fed the geese some bread. I plan to enjoy every second of the rest of my time off before school starts again. Hope 2009 is a great year for everyone!
